Illinois Tourism Light Up the Night

Illinois Tourism asked us to get millennials to choose Chicago as their nightlife city destination instead of New York City or L.A. So we needed to create a campaign that would show time-starved, low attention spanned millennials that Chicago is where they needed to travel FAST.

We created rapid moving swish pan kaleidoscopic social videos that would satisfy visually savvy skeptical millennials in the blink of an eye and focus on three main sell points of Chicago nightlife: Food, Entertainment, and LGBTQAI2S+ friendly spaces.

The results were a staggering 81 million impressions but more importantly 300 thousand click throughs to actually book their trip to Chicago. The campaign also delivered the highest ROI in Illinois Tourism’s history.
